5 Third Avenue Guesthouse, also known as “accommodation airport”, located in the garden suburb of Walmer, is the closest of any form of accommodation to the Port Elizabeth airport.
We offer clean and comfortable Self-catering as well as B&B accommodation in private rooms each with own kitchenette, shower-en-suite, private entrances.
The accommodation is set back from the street which makes for a quiet oasis close to all major amenities.
Our poolside rooms look out over the pool and braai (bbq) lapa area. You can make use of the beautiful garden, pool and barbeque area.
Secure parking is available behind a motorised gate. Shops, restaurants and take outs are within walking distance… no need to even get into your car.
The airport is less than 1 minute drive away from the Guesthouse. Port Elizabeth’s beachfront and the Boardwalk Casino Complex are only a 3.5km drive away. Our location is so central, it is perfect for both, business and leisure.

Follow Walmer Boulevard for about 3km. (you will pass the fire station on your left and then a Kwik Spar on the right a bit further along). Turn left into Third Avenue. No. 5 (our Guest House) is on the left hand side – a white house with a red roof. Ring the bell at the driveway gate and we will open for you.
We are in the same Road as the Airport. As you exit the Airport turn left. We are on the Right Hand Side 0.3km away. (PS we do not have a noise problem with the aeroplanes)
R350 per room per night for one person and R450 for two people. A room sleeps 2 people. A 3rd fold out mattress can be added for R60 (child) or a single bed for R100 per night.
The price for breakfast is not included in my rate – it will be an additional R60 per person.
50 College Drive B & B, is a newly renovated Cape Dutch style house with stunning bedrooms and gorgeous bathrooms. We are centrally situated in the up-market suburb of Mill Park. Everything in P.E. is a mere 10 minute drive away, including Grey High School, St Georges and Greenacres Hospitals, P.E. Golf Club, P.E. Airport, Greenacres and Walmer Park shopping Malls, top restaurants and the beachfront, to name but a few.
