Global fashion retailer LC Waikiki opens first store in Western Cape:

10 December 2018, Cape Town, South Africa – Global fashion retailer, LC Waikiki opened their first store in the Western Cape at Tyger Valley Shopping Centre on Saturday 08 December 2018. LC Waikiki offers on-trend, well-priced clothing for all occasions for women, men and children with the brand philosophy of “Everyone deserves to dress well”.

The Tyger Valley store is the third LC Waikiki store in South Africa, following the Menlyn Park and Sandton City branches that opened earlier this year. With the South African stores now open; the retailer is operating in 43 countries with over 900 stores worldwide.

MC’ed by local celebrity, Liezel van der Westhuizen, the VIP store opening event on Saturday 8 December showcased the versatile variety of clothing LC Waikiki has to offer South Africans through a fashion show designed by Mary Reynolds of SA Fashion Week fame. Featuring international and local models, with cameo’s by Katlego Maboe and Roxy Louw, the versatility of the range was showcased as models moved from morning to evening outfits and everything in between.

The 2018 Spring- Summer collection is a modern twist on classics and includes a range of themes from Luxe Utility, Casual Friday, Shiney Sport and 90’s Glam, to Retro Marine and Into the Wild themes with wildlife prints and earthy tones as well as Nature Calls featuring flower and butterfly motifs.

The children’s collection is colourful and vibrant with hues of pink, lilac and blue. To introduce the clothing to all Tyger Valley shoppers, a 20% discount for all purchases was given to shoppers for the opening weekend (8th and 9th December).
