Heroes and Princesses come to life at Birchwood:
Give your children the opportunity to meet their much-loved superheroes, pirates and fairy-tale princesses and princes, including a horse and carriage arrival of real-life princesses, in the first Hero and Princess Faire to be held at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg on Sunday, 9 September.
Kids can look forward to pirate battle-offs, train rides, Lego build-off competitions, obstacle courses, jumping castles, face painting, slime-making, bubble fun in the fairy garden and much, much more. Children, and parents alike, are encouraged to take part in a colourful character parade, by dressing up in their favourite cosplay outfits to win an exciting prize for the best dressed visitor.
Promising a family day out, parents can find a quiet spot on Birchwood’s lush lawns and sip on their favourite cocktail or craft beer, feast on the wide variety of cuisine on offer from food stalls and browse through the goods in the market.
The Hero and Princess Faire will take place from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, 9 September in the Birchwood gardens. Tickets are R150 for adults, R70 for kids, and children under two are free. Tickets are available from Pick n’ Pay or online from Webtickets, and no tickets will be sold on the day.
