Kotex® SA Donates over 2000 packs of Sanitary Pads after Cyclone Idai:
Kotex® Ambassador, Nolo Seabi at Kaya FM show support and hand over the sanitary pads to Cyclone Idai survivors
The effects of Cyclone Idai left approximately 1.8 million people in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi without shelter, food, and clothing. Understanding that the effects of a natural disaster are often accompanied by challenges such as lack of sufficient supplies, Kotex® SA is reaching out and providing much needed sanitary pads to the young girls and women in need.
Kotex® SA has partnered with Kaya FM and donated over 2000 packs of sanitary pads to girls affected by this natural disaster. Kotex® SA, together with their brand ambassador Nolo Seabi, went to Kaya FM on Tuesday to show their support and hand over the sanitary pads.
“We are saddened by what happened in Mozambique and hope that our donation will make a difference to those left stranded and in need of sanitary products. We are also grateful to Kaya FM and SA Red Cross for giving us the opportunity to give back,” says Tramaine Grewan, Kotex® SA Senior Brand Manager.
