Thursday 2 April on the show The business of Entertainment at 9pm on Cape Talk we have:
Michael ’t Sas-Rolfes, who serves on the Board of Directors of AfrikaBurn and recently assumed the role of Board Chair.
With university degrees spanning Commerce, Environmental Economics, and Biodiversity Conservation, Politics and Governance, Michael has followed a diverse and unconventional career path, driven in part by his passions for nature and wildlife, photography, travel, counterculture, and music.
In 2007, he signed up as a South African regional contact for the US-originated Burning Man project and co-founded Africa Burns Creative Projects, the non-profit vehicle for establishing the AfrikaBurn event and community, as a founding Member and Director.
Initially active in getting the movement up and running, he then took a several-year hiatus from ‘burn’ activities, during which he pursued further studies and other work on wildlife conservation and trade governance.
He returned to serve on the AfrikaBurn Board in early 2023, resuming his active involvement.

Boilerplate and Editor’s Notes.
