Keep your locked-down kids entertained with new stories from “Are We There Yet?”:
The December holidays are long over, but for many parents, the kids are still at home, some for the foreseeable future as they home school during the pandemic. In partnership with the NGO Book Dash, Dunlop has brought out new episodes on the multilingual “Are We There Yet” children’s podcast to help parents keep little ones engaged, stimulated and occupied. Watch them settle in as they listen to Lara the yellow ladybird, Sizwe’s Smile and learn The Things That Really Matter or have their interest sparked with What if or Why there is a hole in the wall?
“We launched the ‘Are We There Yet’ podcast series via our Dunlop My Tyres app and popular podcast services such as Spotify and iTunes, late last year,” says Lubin Ozoux, CEO of Sumitomo Rubber South Africa (Pty) Ltd, manufacturer of the Dunlop tyre brand. “As part of our December road safety awareness campaign, ‘Take the road again, together’, we partnered with the non-profit, Book Dash, to bring some of their stories to life on the podcast series. We realised that many families would be avoiding air travel during the pandemic and would be taking to the road instead. We wanted to help drivers keep their little passengers entertained on the road trip so that they could concentrate on the road ahead.”
The captivating audio stories, written by South African authors and recorded in English, isiZulu, Setswana and Afrikaans, are guaranteed to enthrall little ones.
