BTL Emsculpt has been making huge waves in the States and globally over the last few months, with stars like Drew Barrymore and Kim Kardashian convinced of the results of the treatments. Just launched in South Africa, it’s the only procedure to help women and men both build muscle and burn fat.

SA Gynaecologist Dr Natalia Novikova, who became interested in BTL equipment when looking for equipment for vaginal tightening and pelvic floor exercisers, happened to try the Emsculpt while she was meeting at the BTL offices.

“A few weeks later I noticed I was a different shape for the weight I was at, it was only then I started researching the equipment seriously, and went back for more treatments…. At R5000 per session, its significantly cheaper than abroad (USD 750 and GBP 750 quoted online), but will only be in the range of a minority of South African customers.
